Trivia is an interactive quiz game played over IRC. You can join in the fun on ChatSpike (irc.chatspike.net on #trivia) with any IRC client such as mIRC or X-Chat. We offer many features not available to other less powerful trivia bots, such as team play with team names, competitive scoreboards, rankings, insane rounds, and web based high scores. Currently our database contains over 88,000 questions on a variety of categorised subjects. We run two Linux and FreeBSD machines running the Botnix IRC bot, which runs a proprietary module and stores questions and player data in a relational database. The scalable design of our system means that our trivia is available for play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
